Day-wise Itinerary
Cochin Arrival - Munnar (130 km / 4-5 hrs)
Arrive at Cochin Airport/Railway Station and meet your tour representative. Transfer to Munnar, the scenic hill station famous for tea gardens and misty landscapes. En route, enjoy spectacular views of the Western Ghats and stop at Cheeyappara & Valara Waterfalls with cascading waters amidst lush greenery. Visit Athirappilly Waterfalls - the "Niagara of India" (if time permits). Evening check-in at hotel in Munnar. Take a leisurely walk through nearby tea plantations.
Munnar Full Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, full day sightseeing in Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park - home to endangered Nilgiri Tahr with panoramic views from Anamudi Peak. Explore the Tea Museum at Nallathanni Estate to learn tea processing and enjoy freshly brewed tea. Visit Mattupetty Dam & Lake for boating. Explore Echo Point, Top Station, and serene Chinnakanal Waterfalls. Evening leisure for shopping local tea, spices, and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Munnar - Thekkady (90 km / 3-4 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, renowned for Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and spice plantations. Check into hotel and visit a spice plantation to witness Kerala's rich flora of cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon. Afternoon boat ride on Periyar Lake - spot wild elephants, bison, and exotic birds along the lake. Optional evening activities include traditional Kathakali dance performance or Ayurvedic massage. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Thekkady - Alleppey (140 km / 4-5 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey (Alappuzha), the "Venice of the East." Check into hotel/resort and relax. Afternoon enjoy optional backwater houseboat cruise along the Alleppey canals and lagoons. Experience lush paddy fields, village life, and coconut groves. Perfect for photography, relaxation, and sampling local Kerala cuisine on board. For those not opting houseboat, explore Alleppey town, beaches, and local markets. Overnight stay in Alleppey.
Alleppey - Cochin Departure (60 km / 1.5-2 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Cochin. If time permits, visit Fort Kochi - the historic area with colonial architecture. See the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church (oldest European church in India), Jew Town, and Mattancherry Palace. Drop at Cochin Airport/Railway Station with unforgettable memories of Kerala. Tour ends.
