Day-wise Itinerary
Bangalore Arrival - Transfer to Mysore (145 km / 3 hrs)
Arrive at Bangalore Airport/Railway Station. Meet our representative and drive to Mysore, the cultural capital of Karnataka. En route, visit Srirangapatna - the island fortress of Tipu Sultan with Dariya Daulat Palace, Gumbaz, and ancient temples. Check-in to hotel in Mysore. Evening visit to the magnificent Mysore Palace showcasing Indo-Saracenic architecture. Later, head to Brindavan Gardens for the famous illuminated musical fountain show. Overnight stay in Mysore.
Mysore - Coorg (120 km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Coorg (Madikeri), often called the "Scotland of India." Enjoy the winding roads through lush green coffee plantations and misty valleys. Check-in to your resort. Visit Abbey Falls - a stunning cascade among coffee and spice estates. Explore Raja's Seat for breathtaking sunset views. Visit Omkareshwara Temple with its unique Gothic-Islamic architecture. Evening stroll in Madikeri town, shop for Coorg coffee, honey, and homemade chocolates. Overnight stay in Coorg.
Coorg Local Sightseeing
Wake up to the aroma of coffee and birdsong. After breakfast, visit Dubare Elephant Camp - watch elephants being bathed, fed, and trained. Proceed to Cauvery Nisargadhama, an island formed by River Cauvery surrounded by bamboo groves. Visit the famous Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery) at Bylakuppe - one of the largest Tibetan settlements in South India with golden Buddha statues. Evening walk through coffee plantations as the sun sets. Overnight stay in Coorg.
Coorg - Ooty (230 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Ooty, the "Queen of Hill Stations" in the Nilgiri Hills. The scenic journey passes through Bandipur National Park and Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary - watch for deer, elephants, and peacocks! On reaching Ooty, check-in and rest. Evening explore serene Ooty Lake with boat ride surrounded by eucalyptus trees. Visit the Rose Garden with over 2,000 rose varieties. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Ooty - Coonoor Excursion
After breakfast, day trip to Coonoor - a charming hill town famous for tea gardens and viewpoints. Visit Sim's Park, a beautifully landscaped botanical garden with rare plants. Head to Lamb's Rock and Dolphin's Nose Viewpoint for mesmerizing views of tea estates and Catherine Falls. Optional: Enjoy the memorable Toy Train ride between Ooty and Coonoor through lush hills, tunnels, and bridges (subject to availability). Return to Ooty for overnight stay.
Ooty - Coimbatore Departure (90 km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Coimbatore. If time permits, visit the grand Adiyogi Shiva Statue at Isha Yoga Center - a peaceful spiritual site surrounded by Velliangiri Hills. Drop at Coimbatore Airport/Railway Station. Tour ends with memories of Mysore's royal charm, Coorg's coffee-scented hills, and Ooty's misty valleys.
